In this maintenance case, the faulty EPP keyboard suffered from aging key buttons,accumulated internal dust and built-in battery has run out of power resulting in input failure. Our technical team adopted a standardized four-step maintenance process.
First, we completely removed the worn and aging key components and installed brand-new matching keys and battery to ensure sensitive and accurate key pressing feedback, consistent with original equipment standards.
Subsequently, we conducted full-depth internal and external cleaning for the keyboard module. We removed dust, oil stains and residual impurities inside the key gaps and circuit surface to avoid circuit short circuit and signal delay caused by dirt.
After cleaning and component replacement, we reloaded the firmware for testing. We performed multi-round functional and encryption tests, including key sensitivity detection, PIN encryption verification and anti-interference testing, to ensure the keyboard fully complies with global ATM financial security specifications.
Finally, we pasted new standard identification labels with complete equipment parameters and maintenance marks on the keyboard surface, realizing standardized equipment management.
