BRM Pocket assembly is original NCR spare part exclusively for SelfServ 6683 and 6687 recycler ATMs. As the temporary cash storage buffer inside Bill Recycling Module, it handles deposit escrow, banknote counting, jam detection and recycle sorting.
Main Functions
- Temporary Banknote Escrow Storage When users make cash deposits, banknotes are transported into this pocket for temporary holding before denomination validation and counterfeit detection. If the user cancels the deposit transaction, all stored banknotes are ejected back to the customer automatically.
- Banknote Sorting & Recycling Buffer After passing authenticity verification, qualified deposited banknotes are transferred from this pocket into designated recycle cassettes for subsequent withdrawal reuse, realizing cash closed-loop recycling without daily manual cash replenishment.
- Banknote Counting & Jam Monitoring Integrated optical and mechanical sensors inside the pocket track banknote quantity, detect skew, double feed, paper jam and abnormal banknote thickness, and send fault signals to the ATM host to trigger error prompts.
- Mechanical Transport Actuation Built-in motor and gear assembly drives the lifting tray and separation rollers to complete banknote intake, compression, alignment and output between transport channel and recycle cassettes.
- ATM Fault Replacement Spare Part It is a wear-prone core component. Common faults including jam errors, counting mismatch, deposit failure, pocket lifting malfunction are mostly caused by damaged or aged BRM Pocket assembly; direct replacement restores full BRM recycling function.
